Our Story<\/h2>\n

The Gibson Center for Behavioral Change takes its name from Allie Gibson. Long before drug and alcohol treatment facilities were in operation, Allie and his wife would take alcoholics from the Scott City community into their home to help them get their lives together. The Center began in 1979 as a Halfway House. With more than 40 years of successful treatment service, Gibson Center for Behavioral Change has grown to provide treatment to over 1600 people a year from the various communities in Southeast Missouri.<\/p>\n
